Moreover, the EDH insert provides excellent support, vibration damping, and run-flat performance. Its optimized shape improves traction and stability, particularly beneficial for heavier Ebike chassis and high-speed DH runs. The insert's enhanced durability allows it to withstand the rotational forces from the motor, ensuring long-lasting performance.
On the other hand, the Pro V2 insert is an upgraded version of the highly acclaimed Pro insert. It offers superior protection, support, and weight ratio. The dual-layered design provides maximum protection and support while remaining lightweight, easy to install, and effective at vibration damping.
Rimpact Inserts should be used with an insert-compatible valve. The EDH insert is optimized for 2.5” tires and 35mm internal rims, though it is compatible with narrower setups. However, installation becomes more challenging for smaller sizes. For 2.4” tires and 30mm rims, the Pro V2 is a more suitable option, especially for those less experienced with insert installation.
To ensure proper coverage, use approximately 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle. While the inserts are closed-cell and cannot absorb liquid, some sealant may cling to the outside, requiring a slightly higher dosage. Sealant can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tire.
