Introducing Rimpact EDH, the latest innovation in protective inserts from Rimpact. Engineered for superior performance on challenging terrain, the EDH is the ultimate choice for riders who demand top-tier protection.
Similar to our Pro insert, the EDH features a dual-density design, combining a dense protection shell with our signature Original foam to effectively absorb impacts and reduce vibrations. Constructed from high-quality closed-cell foam, the Rimpact EDH is exceptionally durable and resilient, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Beyond its protective qualities, the EDH offers unparalleled support, vibration damping, and run-flat performance. Its optimized shape enhances traction and stability, providing the grip and control needed for heavy e-bike chassis and high-speed downhill runs.
To maximize the benefits of the Rimpact EDH, it must be used with an insert-compatible valve. This insert is optimized for 2.5" tires and 35mm internal rims, although it can be used with narrower setups. However, installation becomes more challenging with smaller sizes. For 2.4" tires and 30mm rims, the Pro V2 insert may be a more suitable option unless you are experienced with insert installation.
When using the Rimpact EDH, it is recommended to use approximately 25% more sealant than the bottle recommends. This ensures that the extra surface area of the insert is adequately coated, as our inserts are closed-cell and cannot absorb liquid. Sealant can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tire.
