If you have disc brakes, then the process is a little more involved - for quick-release or hooded dropouts, it’s fairly straightforward!
Remove the quick release from the left side of the bike’s rear axle
Place the hitch between the quick release or nut and frame
Put the quick release or nut back on and tighten as outlined by bike manufacturer’s instructions
Point the hitch to the rear
Maintain an alignment between the bike arm and hitch that is as straight as possible
To mount wheel guards:
Place the two wheel guards in the two holes on the side of the frame
Fasten the screw from the bottom inside of the frame
What is the weight limit for a bike trailer?
The typical weight limit for a Hamax bike trailer is 40kg. However, Hamax also recommends that the minimum age of your passenger is six months.
