How long do carbon wheels last?
This answer is slightly loaded in that it depends on how well they’re treated! Any damage to carbon fibres from constant rough riding, regular and prolonged use of brakes or an accident could compromise the wheel’s integrity. Although carbon wheels have a shorter lifespan than their aluminium counterparts, you should be able to expect 10k - 25k from them. However, remember Reynolds Cycling provides a lifetime warranty.
Where are Reynolds wheels made?
Utah, America, is the home and heart of Reynolds Cycling. Every bike wheel prototype begins its life in the Composites Development Center. Testing also takes place in the same facilities, where the wheels are put through their paces with a real-world beating around! Once they pass these tests with flying colours, they’re off to production where they must ultimately pass ISO/ETRO standards before getting anywhere near your bike.
